 Nimmer durch Räume der Zeit,
 nimmer verstumme ihr Schlag!

 Sturmläuten muß man die Liebe!

 Nein, sie bewege die Luft,
 rühre an innersten Schlaf.

 Komme durch dichtestes Dunkel
 und lege die Toten zur Ruhe,

 wache,

        wo Leben noch glimmt,
 daß sie es wecke zu sich.
