Doet dit te mijne indachtigheid!
heeft Jesus God tot mij gezeid,
onweerden knecht en onbekwaam
tot 't spreken van Zijn' heiligen naam;
maar doende daaglijks Uw gebod,
draagt mij, zoo drage ik U, o God,
onweerdig ja, doch in Uw' naam,
ben 'k priester en tot al bekwaam.
