Voyez un clair de lune de Novembre dans 
le plein enchantement d'une brume fine 
immobile au dessus du fleuve large qu'on 
devine aux feux réfléchis et sa berge effacée 
d'une ligne de plusieurs lieues de collines 
avec leur feux mobiles. Et là-haut la lune 
comme la clef énigmatique de cet 
enchantement immobile, et qu'un souffle 
semble-t-il ferait redevenir cruel et cru.
