Vielleicht vergeht uns so der Rest der Jahre?
Vielleicht vergehn die Schatten, die uns störten?
Und die Gerüchte, die wir kürzlich hörten
Die finster waren, waren nicht das Wahre.
Vielleicht, daß sie uns noch einmal vergessen
So wie wir gern auch sie vergessen hätten.
Wir setzen uns vielleicht noch oft zum Essen.
Vielleicht sterben wir noch in unseren Betten?
Vielleicht, daß sie uns nicht verdammen, sondern loben?
Vielleicht gibt uns die Nacht sogar das Licht her?
Vielleicht bleibt dieser Mond einst voll und wechselt nicht mehr?
Vielleicht fällt Regen doch von unten nach oben!
