Meine Mutter sang über meine Wiege
(Sung text for setting by O. Fried)
 Matches original text
Language: German (Deutsch)
Meine Mutter sang
Über meine Wiege,
Bis zu Flur und Stiege
Flog der süße Klang.

Meine Mutter wand
Garn im Sonnenscheine,
Und sie hatte eine
Zarte weiße Hand.

Mutter war sehr schön,
Hör' ich alle sagen,
Und ich will nicht klagen,
Daß ich es nicht gesehn.
