Strandvalmue
(Sung text for setting by P. Nørgård)
 Matches base text
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Strandvalmue, blomsterlue,
blomsterlue ved bredning blå.
Du blusser på skønne stridbart grønne
planter der modigt i sandet stå,
fjedrende stinde for salte vinde,
salte vinde fra bredning blå.
Strandvalmue, blomsterlue,
blomsterlue på nøgen strand.
På grønne tander dit gule bander
på livets ret imod sø og sand.
Fjernt fra de fagre, fede agre
står du som kætter i verdens ban.
Blomsterflamme! Bølgens kamme
hvassere tirres mod efterår.
Frø blir modne. Frugter skal rådne.
Mændene ud med leerne går.
Stormene lange omkring din tange
slukker dit sidste blus for i år.
