Mörkgrön rotting och åldriga träd
som knoppats otaliga vårar.
I templet här vid Siang-flodens strand
offrades fordom.
Besökare frambära tveksamt
tre skålar med utsökt vin.
Ta Fu förvisso var ensam den,
som höll huvudet klart.
