Ce bouquet fut caché comme on caché un trésor !

Celle qui vous cacha comme on caché un trésor !
Devait être très blonde et volontiers rêveuse,
Pour vous garder ainsi dans sa vie amoureuses,
Pâquerettes, volubilis et boutons d’or.

Ah ! qui saura jamais depuis combien d’années
Ce bouquet eut le sort des choses qu’on oublie,
Fleurettes sans parfum, maintenant si pâlies :
Pauvre petit bouquet de fleurettes fanées !
