se disciolgo i lacci al core
e s'il mio costante amore
deve estinto alfin cader:
la tua gran crudeltà disciolse il laccio,
son uscito fuor d'impaccio.
Canterò: "Libertà, quanto sei cara,
e ben dolce sei tu se Lilla è amara!"
Lilla mia, tengo in pensier
non voler soffrir più pene,
ch'il star sempre tra catene
è da pazzo, a dirti il ver.
Lodo la crudeltà che sciolse il laccio
e perché son fuor d'impaccio
canterò: "Libertà, quanto sei cara,
e più dolce sei tu che Lilla amara!"
