(Sung text for setting by Anonymous)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  ENG
       1.
Sey, Mutter der Barmherzigkeit!
Sey, Königinn, gegrüßet!
Des Lebens Trost und Sießigkeit
Durch die uns Leben fließet.
Zu dir, o Mutter! rufen wir,
Mit Thränen seufzen wir zu dir.

       2.
O wend dein gütig Angesicht
Auf uns vom Himmelsthrone!
Versag uns deinen Fürspruch nicht
Bey Jesu deinem Sohne!
Nach diesem Elend zeig uns ihn,
Bey ihm sey unsre Mittlerinn!

 ...
Note: In the settings of both Reger and the anonymous composer some of the words are given in a more modern spelling (e.g., sei instead of sey).
