Nach Süden
(Sung text for setting by E. Tinel)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FRE
Dort nach Süden zieht der Regen,
Winde brausen südenwärts,
Nach des Donners fernen Schlägen,
Dort nach Süden will mein Herz.

Dort im fernen Ungarlande
Freundlich schmuck ein Dörfchen steht,
Rings umrauscht von Waldesrande,
Mild von Segen rings umweht.

An des Dörfchens stillem Saume
Ist ein Hüttlein hingestellt,
Das in seinem schmalen Raume
Wahret meine Herzenswelt.
