Selig sind des Himmels Erben
 (Sung text for setting by J. Rinck)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Selig sind des Himmels Erben,
die Toten, die im Herren sterben,
zur Auferstehung eingeweiht!
Nach den letzten Augenblicken
des Todesschlummers folgt Entzücken,
folgt Wonne der Unsterblichkeit;
im Frieden ruhen sie,
los von der Erde Müh.
Hosianna!
Vor Gottes Thron
zu seinem Sohn
begleiten ihre Werke sie.
