Die Hühnerchen
(Sung text for setting by G. Graben-Hoffmann)

Language: German (Deutsch)

Unsre lieben Hühnerchen
Verloren ihren Hahn,
Hatten ihm zu Leide
Doch wahrlich nichts gethan.
Wie trauerten die Hühnerchen,
Daß sie ihn nirgends sahn,
Den lieben guten Hahn!

Unsre lieben Hühnerchen,
Die fanden ihren Hahn,
Als er ging spazieren
Auf einem grünen Plan.
Wie freuten sich die Hühnerchen,
Daß sie ihn wiedersahn,
Den lieben guten Hahn!
