Note provided by Johann Winkler: the text in the autograph of the Jensen song has been struck out (with a single stroke, so that it is still perfectly readable) and replaced by another hand, which the BSB lector ascribes to the composer's daughter Elsbeth; the text appears to be a translation from Turandot, Act 2 Scene 1 and reads as follows: 

Erringen muss ich mir
den höchsten Liebespreis,
in meinem Herzen pocht
die Sehnsucht schnell und heiß.

Und königliches Blut
rinnt in den Adern mir;
nur unerhörter Zwang
hält mich gefesselt hier.

Getötet hast du mir
