Spätherbst
(Sung text for setting by C. Greith)
 See base text
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wenn ich in mein Gärtlein geh',
nach den bunten Blumen seh':
alle Blumen sind schon fort,
o wie traurig ist es dort!

Wenn ich in das Wäldchen geh',
nach den grünen Bäumen seh':
Laub ist welk und schon verdorrt,
o wie traurig ist es dort!

Wenn ich nach dem Himmel seh',
wird mir gar so trüb' und weh',
weil der Wind so schaurig geht
und so trübe Wolke weht.
