Wie stand die Welt in Rosen schön,
Da ich bei dir noch war,
Da rauscht' es grün von allen Höh'n,
Da schien der Mond so klar.
Du brachst die Ros', ich küßte dich,
Ich küßt' und sang dazu:
Ach keine, keine find' ich je,
Die so mich liebt wie du.
