Vom Himmel ist der Frühlingsregen
herabgerauscht die ganze Nacht, -
ich hört'  im Traum die Tropfen fallen
und habe lächelnd dein gedacht.

Und nun im lichten Frührotkleide
der Tag vor meiner Türe steht,
nun schließ ich unter Tränenströmen
dich in mein heiligstes Gebet.

I ara en l’hàbit lluminós de l’aurora

t’incloc en la meva més sagrada pregària.
