Language: German (Deutsch)

Und sitz ich in der Schenke
beim vollen Glase Wein:
so denk' ich dein in Ehren,
lieb Weib, so hold und rein!

Und gibt sein tiefes Fühlen
der ein' und andre kund,
so leer' ich dir zu Ehren
das Glas bis auf den Grund.

Und schreit' ich auch als Zecher
oft über Maß und Ziel,
so denk' ich, dir zu Ehren
geschieht doch nie zu viel.
