Ein liebes Aug' in stillem Thau,
Das hängt an euch jetzt sehnsuchtsvoll,
Daß jedes Blümchen auf der Au
Von mir noch Grüße sagen soll.
 
O heilt das Aug vom süßen Tod!
In Lächeln wandelt seinen Schmerz!
Und, ist dazu ein Zauber noth,
So nehmt nur gleich mein ganzes Herz!
