Stille weht
 (Sung text for setting by R. Bocquet)
 Matches original text
Language: German (Deutsch)
Stille weht in das Haus,
Fühlst du den Atem des Mondes,
Löse dein Haar,
Lege dein Haupt in den Blauschein hinaus.
Hörst du, das Meer unten am Strand
Wirft dir Schätze ans Land;
Sonst wuchsen im Mond Wünsche, ein Heer,
Seit ich dein Auge gesehn, ist die Mondnacht wunschleer.

Composition:

    Set to music by Roland Bocquet (b. 1878), "Stille weht", op. 33 (5 Lieder) no. 1 (1913)
