Herz, mein Herz, warum so traurig? und was soll das Ach und Weh? 'S ist ja schön im fremden Lande Herz, mein Herz, was fehlt dir mehr? Was mir fehlt? mir fehlt ja alles, bin so gar verlassen hie. Zwar ist's schön im fremden Lande doch zur Heimath wird es nie. Keiner hat uns lieb da draußen keiner drückt so warm die Hand, und kein Kindlein will mehr lächeln wie daheim im Schweizerland.
