Grüßt mich meines Lebens wirrer Traum.

Dunkel blickt die Leere rings mich an,
Aber in der Wölbung Mitte lacht
Ein Gestirn voll Trost durch alle Nacht,
Nah und näher zieht es seine Bahn.

Guter Stern, der meine Nacht versüßt,
Den mein Schicksal nah und näher zieht,
Fühlst du, wie mein Herz mit stummem Lied
Dir entgegenharrt und dich begrüßt?

Sieh, noch ist voll Einsamkeit mein Blick,
Langsam nur darf ich zu dir erwachen,
Darf ich wieder weinen, wieder lachen
Und vertrauen dir und dem Geschick.
