Und trunken von Küssen
Taucht ihr das Haupt
Ins heilignüchterne Wasser.

Weh mir, wo nehm' ich, wenn
Es Winter ist, die Blumen, und wo
Den Sonnenschein,
Und Schatten der Erde?
Die Mauern stehn
Sprachlos und kalt, im Winde
Klirren die Fahnen.

vosaltres cignes encisadors,
ebris de besades,
enfonseu el vostre cap
dins l'aigua serena i venerable.

Ai de mi! Quan vingui l'hivern,
on colliré flors i trobaré
la llum del sol
i l'ombra de la terra?
Els murs erectes
silenciosos i freds,
els penells dringuen al vent.
