Ich sah: von einer fernen Klippe 
Eine Bande weißer Vögel aufschwirren.
Ich warf ein Seil, sie einzufangen.
Weiße Tiere, Traum, Phantasie und Meer.
Weiße  Tiere und ewig lächelnde Wiederkehr.

A swarm of birds whirr aloft.
I threw a rope to catch them.
White animals, dream, fantasy and sea.
