Verholniu minne

"Verholniu minne sanfte tuot",
- sô sanc ein wahter an der zinne -
"doch sol sich liep von liebe scheiden.
dar nâch sô wende er sînen muot,
ist ieman tougenlîche hinne;
deswâr sô tuot er wol in beiden.
er sol sorgen wier von hinnen kêre:
est an dem morgen. volge er mîner lêre,
sî daz ich in warnen sol;
sô tuot er wol und sint sîn êre."
 
Der frouwen dienerinne kluoc
erhôrte dâ des wahters singen.
dâ von erschrac diu vil getriuwe.
diu maer si hin zer frouwen truoc.
si sprach "wol ûf und lât iu lingen:
der tac ist komen." dâ huop sich riuwe.
"est ân sünde" sprach diu tugenderîche,
"der in sô fünde ligen minneclîche:
erst entslâfen, nû sich hie!
in weiz niht wie er hin entwîche."
 
Die rede erhôrt der werde gast
dâ er lac bî der minneclîchen
bî liebes brust an blanken armen;
dâ von im slâfes dô gebrast.
er sprach "sol ich von hinnen strîchen,
owê daz müeze got erbarmen."
beider sinne wurden dâ versêret,
(daz schouf rou Minne) fröide gar verkêret.
dâ schiet leit der wunnen spil.
der trehene vil wart dâ gerêret.
