Die Nonne
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ach weh' mir armen Nonnen,
ach weh' mir armen, weh'!
Aus meiner Augen Bronnen
ist so viel Wasser ronnen,
dass ich das Licht der Sonnen
mein Lebtag nimmer seh'!

Das macht, um den ich weine,
den decken Veil' und Klee;
er liegt im schwarzen Schreine
wohl unter weißem Steine;
was sollt' ich noch alleine,
der Welt sag' ich Ade!

Ach weh' mir armen Blinden,
wenn ich im Garten geh'
und will ein Kränzlein binden,
sein Kreuzlein zu umwinden,
kann nur am Dorn ich finden,
ob ich bei Rosen steh'!
