Le rosier
Language: French (Français)
Je reconnais cette fenêtre
Où ma main te plaçait un jour ;
Rosier chéri que j'ai vu naitre
quand mon coeur s'ouvrit à l'amour

Beauté, jeunesse hélas! tout passe ;
La fleur naissante doit mourir, ah !
Mais ton parfum rien ne l'efface
Parfum si doux du souvenir

Ô frais bosquet plein de mystère
Tu fais vibrer mes sens émus ;
Mais sous ton ombre solitaire
Les gais oiseaux ne chantent plus !

Rosier chéri, tige féconde ;
Je vois tes fleurs s'épanouir
Mais plus ne vois la beauté blonde
Dont l'éclat les faisait pàlir !
