Skogarna susar
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Our translations:  FIN
Skogarna susar,
löv dallrar för vinden,
vintern må höras och fåglar må tystna
– gratis vi fick inte, många är de,
skogarna susar,
löv dallrar för vinden,
vintern må höras och fåglar må tystna,
många är de,
men fjärilen flyger sitt skimmer,
vitsippa ler, råg bågnar,
höstarna mognar,
julljus skall ock minna.

Skogarna susar,
löv dallrar för vinden.

Metsät suhisevat
Language: Finnish (Suomi)  after the Swedish (Svenska)
Metsät suhisevat,
lehvät vavahtelevat tuulessa,
olkoon talvi tulossa ja linnut vaietkoot
– ilmaiseksi emme saaneet, monta niitä on,
metsät suhisevat,
lehvät vavahtelevat tuulessa,
olkoon talvi tulossa ja linnut vaietkoot,
monta niitä on,
mutta perhonen lentää hohtavana,
valkovuokko hymyilee, ruis aaltoilee,
syksyt kypsyvät,
joulukynttiläkin tulee mieleen.

Metsät suhisevat,
lehvät vavahtelevat tuulessa.
