by Juan Carlos de Gortázar y Manso de Velasco (1864 - 1926)

Primera escena
Language: Spanish (Español)
Coro I
 Al alimón, al alimón,
la torre se me ha caído.
 Así cantan los chicos
 cuando la tarde muere.

Coro II
 Al alimón, al alimón,
 respondre el otro coro,
 el sol las nubes hiere
 con sus reflejos de oro.

Coros I & II
 Al alimón, al alimón,
 el aire nos envía
 en ráfagas gozosas
 su alegre algarabía.

 Así cantan los chicos
 las tardes de verano
y el coro de las niñas
 se escucha más lejano.

Allá en la Habana cayó, cayó, etc.

Coro I
 Al alimón, al alimón,
la torre se me ha caído, etc.

Coro II
 Al alimón, al alimón,
 respondre el otro coro, etc.

Coros I & II
 Al alimón, al alimón,
 el aire nos envía, etc.

 Así cantando
 pasan las horas de recreo
 las turbas infantiles
 que animan el paseo.

Allá en la Habana cayó, cayó, etc.
