Der Schiffer
Language: German (Deutsch)
Neulich Abends als mein Schiffchen
Tanzend durch die Wellen glitt,
Lispelte mein süsses Mädchen,
"Nimm, Geliebter, nimm mich mit!"

Ha! wie schnell war ich am Ufer
Schlang sie sanft in meinen Arm,
Trug sie jauchzend in die Gondel
Und wir küssten uns so warm!

Freundlich plätscherte die Welle
Kosend mit dem lauen West,
Wiegte sanft uns auf und nieder
Ich umschloss die Holde fest!

Da entsank die golden Leier
Ihrer kleinen Lilienhand,
Und wir knüpften eng und enger
Unsre Liebe Rosenband!
