Mein Schäfer Hylas ist bescheiden! Er liebt mich, zärtlich liebt er mich! Der Inbegriff von seinen Freuden, Sagt er mir öfters, sey nur ich; Doch ach! – er bleibet stets bescheiden. Jüngst ließ die Mutter uns alleine; Was meint ihr wohl, ist da geschehn? Er stand erstarrt gleich einem Steine, Gukt’ in den Hut, und wollte gehen, Und ach! – wir waren ganz alleine!
