Trinklied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT ENG FRE
Stimme:
Funkelnd im Becher
So helle so hold,
Blinket hochschäumend,
Blinkt perlend das Gold
Der süssen, der köstlichen Reben.

Es glänzet auch uns wohl
So freundlich, so hold,
Hell wie der Reben
Erquickendes Gold
Das wogende herrliche Leben.

Chor:
Drum, freudiger Zecher,
Erhebet die Becher,
Es funkelt der Wein
Wohl so freundlich, so hold,
Es funkelt das wogende
Leben wie Gold!
Trinket! Trinket!

Note: in Schubert's autograph, stanza 3, the fourth line of text contains "schäumend" as the third word instead of "freundlich"; in the printed version, it is "freundlich" the first time and "schäumend" in the repetition.
