by Ludwig Jacobowski (1868 - 1900)

Sechse, sieben oder acht
Language: German (Deutsch)
Auf der Straße an den Hecken
blüht es voller jeden Tag,
Rosen schwanken an den Stecken,
fröhlich schwirrt's im Taubenschlag.

Drüben wo die Mädchen gehen,
hab ich keck mich aufgemacht
plötzlich bleiben vor mir stehen
sechse, sieben oder acht.

Blaue Bänder in den Hüten,
vor der Brust den Nelkenstrauß,
ach vor lauter Blühn und Blüten
schaun sie selbst wie Blumen aus.

Blaue Sehnsucht in den Blicken
guckt mich jede an und lacht.
Ach! Könnt' ich doch ans Herze drücken
sechse, sieben oder acht.
