Deitatis majestatem
Language: Latin
Available translation(s): FRE
Deitatis majestatem, majestatis potestatem
in sacramento charitatis
procedentes adoremus.

Hic enim misericors,
et miserator Domino
memoriam faciens mirabilium suorum,
escam dedit diligentibus se.
Cujus saporis prælibata dulcedine,
novit fidelis anima, novit quid Jesu sapiat;
languet et deficit,
nec est quod ultra cupiat;
mori desiderat,
et esse cum Christo
in cæli gloria.

O caro Christi vera, o caro Christi viva,
quam sapis, quam dulcessis
amant animæ.

Te omnes angeli,
Cherubim et Seraphim,
throni et dominationes, principatus et
potestates, venerentur; te orbis terrarum et
qui habitant in eo, charitate ardentissima et
laude incessabile venerentur.

O mentis jubilatio, o caro Christi viva,
o cordis delectatio.
Omnis terra te adoret et superexaltet
in sæcula.

Quam dulcis est cibus vitalis, quam
delectabilis mensa regalis,
in qua fit conviva
consors deitatis
et sociatur unitati.

O bonitatis prodigium, amoris incendium,
charitatis miraculum.
Omnis terra te adoret et superexaltet
in sæcula.
