Ricordati di me!
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Our translations:  ENG
Non mancarmi d'amor, non darmi obblio,
Ché io son lontano e vivo sempre solo;

Lo sguardo, i vezzi, i palpiti, i sospiri;
Nel cor mi porterò l'antico affetto,
Fiorirò la mia speme coi desiri.

Non obbliarmi, o caro angiol d'amore:
Ricordati di me, che t'amo tanto;
Serbami sempre la tua fede in core,
Ché non tramonti questo arcano incanto!

Remember me!
Language: English  after the Italian (Italiano)
Don’t be without my love, don’t neglect me,
because I am so far away and forever lonely;
My heart is like a flower amidst the thorns,
full and sweet with affection in the midst of pain.

Do not forget me! And when the sun sets
over our mountains, and the fields become gloomy,
Remember me, and the divine words
of love that you were glad to speak to me.

Your sweet image is always in my breast,
your look, your charms, your trembling and sighs,
I will carry in my heart the old affection,
my hope will blossom with desire.

Do not forget me! O sweet angel of love,
remember me, who loves you so much,
Keep always your faith in me,
May this mysterious enchantment never fade!
