Kind in de heil'ge nacht,             
dat ons Gods liefde bracht,        
ook wij staan om uwe krib geschaard. 
Lief, heilig Kindekijn,
nu wij zo stille zijn
klinkt zacht en teder: "Vreed' op aard".
