by Adolf Holst (1867 - 1945)

Spaziergang mit einem Prinzen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ist das die Feenwies'?
Schreit' ich durch Märchenland?
Führ' ich ein echt Prinzlein
an meiner Hand?

Hockt er so süß und blass
summend am Heckenrain,
rupft sich den Ringelkranz
aus den Veigelein;

krabbelt's von Käfergold,
knistert's um Halm und Blatt:
"Wat for en lütjen Prinz
is denn man dat?"
