Grüß Gott! das ist der schönste Spruch, Der überall schon Segen trug; Wo nur ein Freund erblickt den Freund, Er spricht, so er's von Herzen meint: Grüß Gott! Grüß Gott! Dir, Du Geliebte mein, Zieh' in Dein Herz, mit Gott, hinein; Und ob ich komm', ob scheiden muß, Werd' Dir in jedem Klick und Kuß: Grüß Gott! Grüß Gott! Dich Schwert in starker Hand, Und Dich mein liebes Vaterland. Du Freiheitshauch, der niederthaut, Ich ruf Dir zu, gleich einer Kraut: Grüß Gott!
