Translation

Der Kiltgang
Language: Alemannic  after the Alemannic
Der Abend isch kumma,
der Tag isch herab,
I steige vom Gaisstieg
zur Alme hinab.
Mei Büchserl am Arme,
den Gemsbart am Huat,
so g'fall i mi selber
und g'fall i mi guat.

Horst net, wie die Schwaig'rin
schön's Liedla singt,
dass Einem das Hearz'l
zum Leibe nas springt!
Wo springt's denn hinüber,
wo fliegt's holt hinein?
Bergab un talüber,
i muss hinterdrein.

Wo durt af der Wiese
die Sennhütte steht,
da ischt's, wo af Buhlschaft
mei Hearzle asgeht.
Wie wallt mi da Bluat da
beim Maderl allein,
un tuat mi ihr Schönheit
doch gar so gefrain.

I geb' ihr a Schmatzerl,
da lachts holt darzua:
I bin an dei Schatzerl
und du bischt mei Bua!
So hält sie mei Hearzl,
hält selber mi fest;
un bin bei mei Diändl
schon manchmal gewest.
