Der Abend isch kumma, Der Tag isch herab, I steige vom Gaisstieg Zur Alme hinab. Mei Büchserl am Arm und Den Gemsbart am Huat, So gefall i mi selber Und gefalle mi guat! Hörst nit, wie die Sennrin Schöns Liedla singt, Daß einem das Herzerl Zum Leibe 'nas springt? Wo springt's denn hinüber, Wo fliegt's halt hinein? Bergab und thalüber, I muß hinterdrein! Wo durt af der Wiase Die Sennhütte steht, Da ischt's, wo af Buhlschaft Mei Herzerl ausgeht. Wie wallt mi das Bluat da Beim Mädli allein! Und thut mi ihr Schönheit Doch gar so gefrain! I geb ihr a Schmatzerl, Da lacht's halt darzua: "I bin au dei Schatzerl Und du bist mei Bua!" So hält sie mei Herzerl, Hält selber mi fest, -- Und bin i bei mei Diandl Schon manche Nacht gewest!
