Comme une fleur
Language: French (Français)
Comme une fleur simple et charmante
Sa fraîcheur ravissait les yeux,
Comme un parfum son âme aimante
De la terre montait aux cieux,
Comme un espoir, triste chimère !
Elle évoquait des jours heureux,
Comme un ange exilé sur terre
Elle faisait rêver aux cieux.
Fleur et parfum, ange, espérance,
Doux gages d'un foyer joyeux,
Tout est perdu, sauf l'espérance
De la retrouver dans les cieux.
Vis donc aux sphères éternelles !
Mais du séjour délicieux,
Cher ange, étends sur nos tes ailes,
Protège-nous du haut des cieux !
