by Ellen Lundberg-Nyblom (1869 - 1933)

Mitt fattiga liv
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Mitt fattiga liv,
med tvivel och kiv,
jag gav det åt strömmen: Driv, driv!
Höstnatten lång
ljöd klockornas sång:
Död över det döda! Bing-bång, bing-bång!

Du gav och du tog,
du led och bedrog
som alla de andra. Nog, nog!
Ett väsen? En kropp?
Vem viskar om hopp?
Då klang det i rymden: Solen går opp!
