»Och nu har jag fått mig en liten,
en smånäpen flicka,» sa Fina,
»nu kommer väl hela smiten
af alla studenterna mina
att knuffas och slåss i min trappa
om hvem, som är flickungens pappa!

Och sen ska studentkåren samlas
på Gillet och gasken gå lös
och en million ska det skramlas
at min och studentkårens tös
och namnen, vi henne ska gifva,
ska bli Carolina Rediviva.

Och hva ska vi sen ha för chim?
Jo sen
ska docenten Ahlén
få hålla ett tal på rim,
som slutar med: fyrfaldigt lefve,
må flickan bli gift med en grefve!»
