Samstag, jeden Samstag, welch ein Wonnetag,
schaut vom Dach Feinsliebchen, ob er kommen mag. 
Nacht wird aus dem Abend wieder,
Liebchen öffnet steigt hernieder, 
möcht ein Wörtchen plaudern, gar zu gern zu zweit. 

Wir sind nicht die Ersten, Schatz, sei wieder froh, 
vor und nach uns Andern geht es ebenso;
die damit einander schmollten, 
und zuletzt sich doch noch wollten: 
was uns Gott beschieden, wird uns alle Zeit!
