by Konstantin Dmitrevich Bal'mont (1867 - 1942)

Ja mečtoju lovil uchodjaščie teni
Language: Russian (Русский)
Ja mečtoju lovil uchodjaščie teni,
Uchodjaščie teni pogasavšego dnja,
JA na bašnju vschodil, i drožali stupeni,
I drožali stupeni pod nogoj u menja.

I čem vyše ja šël, tem jasnej risovalis',
Tem jasnej risovalis' očertan'ja vdali,
I kakie-to zvuki vdali razdavalis',
Vkrug menja razdavalis' ot Nebes i Zemli.

Čem ja vyše vschodil, tem svetlee sverkali,
Tem svetlee sverkali vysi dremljuščich gor,
I sijan'em proščal'nym kak budto laskali,
Slovno nežno laskali otumanennyj vzor.

I vnizu podo mnoju už noč' nastupila,
Uže noč' nastupila dlja usnuvšej zemli,
Dlja menja že blistalo dnevnoe svetilo,
Ognevoe svetilo dogoralo vdali.

JA uznal, kak lovit' uchodjaščie teni,
Uchodjaščie teni potusknevšego dnja,
I vsë vyše ja šël, i drožali stupeni,
I drožali stupeni pod nogoj u menja.
