by Marija Borisovna Dargomyzhskaya (1788 - 1851)

V tjomnu nochku v chistom pole
Language: Russian (Русский)
V temnu nochku v chistom pole bujnyj veter vojet,
U molodchika serdechko po devushke nojet, po devushke nojet.

Na doline dva cvetochka srostalisja vmeste,
A molodchik prigljanulsja devushke-neveste, devushke-neveste.

Travka gor'kaja srostisja cvetikam meshala,
Zlaja uchast' dvum serdechkam schast'ja ne davala, schast'ja ne davala.

Dozhdik kanul, solnce grejet v pole vse zhiveje,
Lish' cvetochki oba vjanut, listiki zhelteja, listiki zhelteja.

Na derevne veseljatsja, khorovody vodjat,
Chto zhe molodec s devicej prigorjunjas' khodjat, prigorjunjas' khodjat?

Vy polyn' travu skosite s zelenogo luga,
Vy krasavicu otdajte za milogo druga, za milogo druga!
