by Eduard Rudolf Grisebach (1845 - 1906)

Eine schwarze Perle
Language: German (Deutsch)
Eine schwarze Perle hab' ich
in dem Kästchen japanesisch
einst verwahrt an jenem letzten
Tag, als du bei mir gewesen.

Von dem schwarzen Seidenkleide
sprang sie ab, die kleine Perle;
morgens auf dem weißen Linnen
fand ich lächelnd sie im Bette.

Traurig seh' ich heut' sie wieder,
denn uns trennen Berg' und Meere!
Einsam lieg' ich in den Kissen;
bist du treu, o schwarze Perle?
