Då vi vandra vid bäckarnes skuggade lopp,
då vi dröja vid fors och vid skummig kaskad,
skall du skåda med tryggadt odödlighetshopp,
huru hvirflarne fly med de vissnade blad,
och när månen en spång öfver böljorna slår
af sitt speglade glitter från strand och till strand,
skall du skönja i drömmar den strålväg, som går
