Risoluzione
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Vedi un pò che bella grazia
con chi crede di tratare
di tai modi omai son sazia,
e chi sono ha da imparar!

No mi mancano maniere
per trovar dei cicisbei,
gli e la voglio far vedere
e di rabbia ha da crepar.

Uno sguardo tenerino,
un sorriso languidetto,
un ventaglio occhialino,
gran miracoli san far.

Ma tai mezzi usar non voglio
per far correre i galanti!
Io non bramo degli amanti,
un marito vò trovar!

Note provided by Johann Winkler: this is an arietta that Proch probably composed for a singer (Rita Gabussi) as an interlude in the opera "Le cantatrici villane" by Valentino Fioravanti to a libretto by Giuseppe Palomba. (Proch might have directed a performance of this opera).

Vorsatz
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Italian (Italiano)
Seht doch nur, welch ein Betragen!
Seinen Scherz mit mir zu treiben!
Länger kann ich's nicht ertragen,
wer ich bin, soll er bald seh'n!

O, mir fehlt es nicht an Künsten,
junge Herrchen anzuziehen;
will ich mich darum bemühen,
soll er bald vor Zorn vergeh'n!

Durch das Spiel mit sanften Blicken,
durch ein freundlich süßes Lächeln,
durch ein leises Händedrücken
ist manch' Wunder schon gescheh'n.

Aber nein, ich will nicht locken
eitle Schmeichler, die nicht freien;
will statt Liebeständeleien
einen Mann mir auserseh'n!
