by Jacob Axel Josephson (1818 - 1880)

Vårsång
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Jublande skaror helsa vårens första ljusning,
längtande hjertan svara högt i salig tjusning:
tusende röster höjas,
tusende känslor röjas,
solens heliga purpur jordens famn betäcker.
Strålande hoppet brinner,
himmelen sjelf det vinner,
kallar till lif åt jorden heliga fröjders blomma, väcker
i hjertats djup de slumrande gnistor.
